Around 2000, I started working professionally as an artist, with opportunities to display my work at galleries and exhibitions at home in Victoria, British Columbia and beyond. I studied and was employed at UVic and Camosun College in BC and I am an alumnus of the University of Saskatchewan.

I work a lot with acrylic paint, but I am also an avid drawer and mixed media sculptor. I consider myself very fortunate to work as an artist.

The infinity of color motivates my art, as does the universe of stuff that distinguishes each of us as the unique individuals that we are. My work is inspired by the matter I love – special people, places and things that touch my life.

There are also times when I have abandoned my usual inspirations to use my art to expose to the public, some less beautiful private stuff that has colored my personal world.
